Adam J. Grunbaum, D.O., F.A.C.R. Dr. Adam Grunbaum received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2004. During this time, he was named to the Chancellor’s List for his academic achievements. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Sun Coast Hospital in 2007. It was here that Dr. Grunbaum was elected by his peers to Chief Administrative Resident and worked closely with medical education and trainees in surgery, family practice, internal medicine, anesthesia, and dermatology.In 2007, the American College of Osteopathic Internists honored Dr. Grunbaum with the national Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. It is presented annually to residents in recognition of outstanding compassion in the delivery of care, respect for patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues, as well as demonstrated excellence in clinical teaching. Additionally, Dr. Grunbaum was named House Staff Lecturer of the Year in 2007 by his colleagues for his commitment to peer education. In 2009, Dr. Grunbaum completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Sun Coast Hospital/Largo Medical Center. Upon graduation, Dr. Grunbaum moved to Kissimmee-St. Cloud to establish Advanced Rheumatology of Central Florida. He is board certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. While Dr. Grunbaum enjoys all aspects of rheumatology, he takes a particular interest in the spondyloarthropathies and various connective tissue diseases. During his fellowship, he was involved in clinical research for a myriad of rheumatic diseases with a focus on rheumatoid arthritis and gout. When he isn’t busy seeing patients, Dr. Grunbaum enjoys golfing, watching his favorite sports teams and spending time with family. |
